Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has confirmed that he will be starring in the upcoming sequel to the 2007 comedy film, Welcome. The film, which will be titled Welcome 3, will also star Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Warsi said that Welcome 3 will be a “larger than life” theatrical film. “The scale of the film is unreal,” he said. “It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal and lots of other people.”
Warsi also revealed that the film is currently in the scripting stage. “We are still working on the script,” he said. “But we are hoping to start shooting soon.”
The first Welcome film was directed by Anees Bazmee and was a critical and commercial success. The film starred Kumar, Dutt, Warsi, and Katrina Kaif.
