Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film OMG 2 has finally been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an ‘A’ certificate. The film, which is a sequel to the 2008 hit OMG – Oh My God!, has been given the adult certificate due to some “sensitive” content.

The CBFC has suggested over 25 modifications to the film, including some changes to the dialogue and the visuals. However, the makers of the film have decided to go with the ‘A’ certificate rather than making any cuts.
In a statement, the makers of the film said, “We respect the decision of the CBFC and we are happy that the film has been cleared with a few modifications. We believe that the film is still relevant and important, and we are confident that it will resonate with audiences across the country.”

OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam. The film is scheduled to release on August 11, 2023.

- A scene where Akshay Kumar’s character is shown to be possessed by Lord Shiva has been removed.
- A few dialogues that were considered to be offensive have been toned down.
- Some of the visuals that were considered to be too graphic have been blurred.
