French automaker Citroen is all set to introduce its Citroen C3 Aircross Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the Indian market by October. The company has already started production of the C3 Aircross SUV at its plant in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.

The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is a subcompact SUV that will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Venue, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. It is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 110 horsepower and 190Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The C3 Aircross SUV will be offered in both 5- and 7-seater configurations. It will also get four customisation packs – Vibe, Elegance, Travel and Care. Colour options will include four exterior monotone shades or six dual-tone options.

It will come with a host of features, including a panoramic sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a host of safety features.
Citroen is targeting the young and upwardly mobile customer with the C3 Aircross SUV. The company believes that the SUV will appeal to customers who are looking for a stylish, feature-rich, and affordable SUV.

Citroen is betting big on the C3 Aircross SUV to boost its sales in India. The company is targeting to sell 10,000 units of the SUV in the first year of its launch. The company is also planning to expand its dealer network to 150 outlets by next year.
