Google’s next-generation Pixel phones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, are expected to be released later this year. In the meantime, leaks and rumors about the phones have been circulating online.

A new leak from Winfuture suggests that the Google Pixel 8 will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, while the Pixel 8 Pro could offer 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options. The base Pixel 8 is also tipped to be offered in Licorice, Peony, and Haze color options. Meanwhile, the high-end Pixel 8 Pro could launch in Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky color options.
These storage and color options are similar to what was rumored for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro earlier this year. However, it’s important to note that these are just leaks and rumors, and Google has not yet officially announced the phones.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be powered by Google’s in-house Tensor G3 SoC, paired with Titan M2 security chips. The phones are also expected to run stock Android 14 out of the box.
Display
The Pixel 8 is said to feature a 6.17-inch full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) OLED display, while the Pixel 8 Pro could come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440 pixels) LTPO OLED panel. Both phones are expected to come with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera
On the camera front, the Pixel 8 is said to have a dual-camera system on the back, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to have a triple-camera system on the back, with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor.
Price
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to be launched in October 2023. The exact pricing of the phones is not yet known, but they are expected to be priced similarly to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which start at $599 and $899 (approx Rs 49,999 and Rs 74,999) respectively.
